ALIASES: Patchy, Mishka, Moo-moo Kitty.
LIKES: Letting me know when the food or water dishes are almost empty, letting me know the litter box needs cleaned, Greeber's treats, getting baths by Mr. Meezer, licking anything that breathes, chewing up my important papers, being told she is gorgeous, being gorgeous.
DISLIKES: Empty food dishes, dirty litter boxes, being ignored.
Patches was about 4 years old when we adopted her. She was living in a home with two small children. She was declawed, and like many declawed cats, she defended herself by biting. Her owners were looking for a good home for her, we are always suckers for a pretty face. She was born as a farm cat, and I think she must have gone hungry at times. She is really obsessed with her food and water dish. She spends most of her time laying in the hall in front of the room where we keep her food. Whenever I walk down the hall, she expects me to check her food supply and assure here that it is all just fine. If her dishes even get CLOSE to empty, Patches goes on a paper destroying rampage. I'm not talking about old newspapers here...I am talking about my invoices, tax receipts, pages out of library books, etc. She is defiantly a lady's kitty. She barely tolerates men or other kitties. She's in her glory when she is hangin' with the girls!
All in all Patches is a good addition to our family. Like our other cats, she has never shown any desire to go outdoors. She is happy with her home, and we are happy to provide it for her.
